The inaugural creative3 international forum was held in Brisbane Australia in April 2010.

creative3 empowered individuals and organisations alike to harness the power of three – creativity, investment and enterprise – to build a successful creative business through practical learnings and applications.

Focused on showcasing the combined power of these three key elements, the new generation event placed particular emphasis on the areas of film and television, new media, design, and music.

Delegates learnt to advance creativity in a commercial context through the action-based forum, which addressed the real issues faced by the creative industries and showcased emerging growth and market opportunities, investment models, research and technologies.

creative3 brought together some of our brightest talent and industry practitioners from different creative fields, and creative enterprise leaders to share their ideas and offerings, form partnerships, network, and do business. The three-day program agenda included a blend of keynote presentations, investment pitching sessions, business development workshops and cross-media networking.

creative3 was attended by:

  • arts, cultural and creative businesses
  • entrepreneurs and designers
  • professional advisory services
  • creative industries support providers and agencies
  • business angels and venture capitalists
  • policy makers and local authorities responsible for cultural and economic development and planning
  • incubators, parks and precincts
  • university academics and researchers.
