THE EVENT

Creative3 2011 will build on the success of last year’s inaugural event.  Focus will again be on the three fundamental elements of creativity, enterprise and investment, while attention will be directed to the real issues faced by creatives and the latest trends and technologies to advance growth.

From rock star designers to risk taking investors, this year’s forum will celebrate the creativity, investment and enterprise of some of the people shaping our world. Creative3 will be a magnet for disruptive thinking and radical approaches to business development across platforms and across the creative industries including film, television, music, design, fashion and new media. Leading disruptive entrepreneurs will discuss their role in influencing new content, distribution and business models and their predictions for what it takes to build a successful creative venture in the future.

Days 1 and 2 will be a blend of presentations by keynote speakers, interactive panel sessions, workshops and key networking sessions. For the full program highlights, please click here.

Day 3 will feature the Creative3 Investment Marketplace where finalists will have the chance to pitch for a $125k valued business prize package.  This is a unique networking platform to connect with like-minded creatives and key investors. WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Creative3 is designed for and by creative enterprise professionals to address some of the key challenges facing the industry.   Attendees will include early stage creative companies, designers, growing SMEs, entrepreneurs, industry thought leaders, arts organisations, members of the Australian Association for Angel Investors (AAAI), academics from leading Australian Universities, private investors, creative parks, incubators, and government agencies associated with creative industries, new technologies and innovation.

Here’s just a sample of what last year’s delegates said about last year’s Creative3

“I would not have anticipated having so much chance to hear from and interact with forward thinkers in the creative industries, having lunch with Indian and Chinese representatives, and discussing common needs, and teeing up some significant industry partners.”

“Congratulations on the success of Creative3 – an impressive, international forum that has been described as ‘an inspirational, excellent and worthwhile event’.   Well done!”

“One of our guests said the program was brilliant and inspiring. She loved every minute of it, and has taken away a whole bunch of ideas to chew on.”

“I thought the business pitch sessions were very valuable to me as we are currently capital raising and are pitching to investors. It was interesting to see how people presented their ideas but most importantly the panel of judges’ questions.”
