Creative3 2014

As one of the speakers noted in their presentation, being an entrepreneur can be lonely—and that’s why Creative3 exists: to help us forge valuable connections, to break down the barriers to success and to let us learn from one another and drive Australia’s creative industries forward. The move to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre provided an increase in delegate numbers and corporate participation, identifying the importance of the creative industries to businesses.

From new idea generation to raising investment

The Creative3 2014 program focused on the full cycle from new idea generation and business development; through to design-led integration of culture and people; and as always practical insights to seek new pathways for business success.

Creative3 focuses strongly on providing a valued customer experience, with the introduction of tracking our Net Promoter Score in 2014 to continue to innovate our program to help scale creative companies. Creative3 in 2014 scored a high ranking of 51 which demonstrates the calibre of our presenters and genuine interest to help like-minded entrepreneurs.

Creative3 hosts Creative Business Cup Australia

An international partnership for the Creative3 Pitch

In 2014, Creative3 focused heavily on the pathways to capital raising for creative ventures. The Creative3 Pitch moved to be a breakfast pitch format for invited investors with the opportunity for the winner, Project Tripod to go on and represent Australia at the international Creative Business Cup in Denmark.

In 2014, Creative3 secured strong media coverage valued at close to $450,000. Key features on presenters including Alexander Keating, David Briskin, Simon Moss and Jonathan Chippindale were published nationally and online including The Australian, Australian Financial Review and The Courier Mail.

The History of Creative3

In April 2010, CEA initiated and hosted the first Creative3 to showcase the importance of creative industries as a driver of the Australian economy and the differing pathways to commercial success. Today, the creative industries is valued at US$2.25 trillion globally and more than $35 billion to Australian GDP.

Since launch, over 85 thought leaders and entrepreneurs have presented new models of creative business innovation to more than 1,500 delegates.

Creative3 is now Australia’s largest conference for creative entrepreneurs. At heart, Creative3 is about providing innovators, business leaders and entrepreneurs with the insights to succeed in scaling their business.
